IT 3 would not be part of any infogroup. It will get updated in the fields as below:
1. For payroll impacting infotypes: in the fields
- RRDAT Earliest MD (master data) change since last payroll run
- RCBON (Earliest) Master data change (bonus)
2. For time eval impacting infotypes: in the field
- BDERR - PDC recalculation (date)
These changes depend on the config in
a)V_T582A -
for payroll - If Retro accounting relevance for payroll - field RUREC has R
- or has T and table view V_T588G Field specific RA recognition has this infotype's field with
category 1
and change has occurred in this field.
For Time eval - If Retro accounting relevance for PDC has R
- or has T and table view V_T588G Field specific RA recognition has this infotype's field with
category 2
and change has occurred in this field.
Also a feature can be used for either/both payroll & time eval in V_T582A fields CYCAL & CYBDE to trigger retro. The feature would return a value and this can be used in V_T588G.
As a standard practice, payroll recalculation relevant Infotypes are: 0, 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 27, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2010 and any other infotypes that have a bearing with the country's or/and industry sector payroll (e.g., IT 188 for Australian payroll).
Similarly for time eval (or PDC) recalculation: Infotypes are: 0, 1, 7, 41, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, etc.
Usually in IT 7, not all the fields may be relevant to T/E or PDC; it depends on the time schema. Similarly for payroll, IT 8 - Next increase date may not be relevant for payroll.
I'd strongly recommend these above IT's should impact payroll or time eval as mentioned above.
Further it has been observed that HR/Payroll users change infotypes from an employee's service start date without understanding the impact, as in the of IT 41, while it may be enough to change the infotype record from a later date, depending on the specific requirements.
A user guide is also recommended for these departments as well as a separate guide for employees who use ESS/MSS. In spite of user guides, users may still not refer to it.
