I have a business requirement where engineers needs to have their van stock replenishment processed via the MRP in MM. The MRP checks the standard HR BAPI, BAPI_PTIMEOVERVIEW_GET to check the availability of the engineers and decide accordingly.
The current logic is that if the values returned by the BAPI is the not working flag or if the value for attendance or absence is greater then "0", do not replen.
Some of the engineers are required to have their stock replenished while they or support and mentoring ( IT2002) attendance type. The BAPI_PTIMEOVERVIEW_GET doesn't return the timetype for us to incorporate a logic by reading this specific time type, it only returns the hours.
On the other hand we use MRS functionality as well so making someoen available via substitution creates availability for job booking which we do not want.
I will really appreciate if someone who has encountered a similar scenario can offer some suggestions.
