Well, the Crystal Report viewer is what it says; a Crystal Report Viewer. Not a PDF viewer, not an excel viewer, etc., etc...
If this is a web app, you should be able to stream (ExportToStream) the file though....
For more info, use the search string 'net crystal stream' in the search box at the top right corner. When the results come back, filter for Asset Type of "Support Notes" (left side of page).
As a BTW., always specify version of CR you are using when posting a query.
